In New York, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (646) 895-9507. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thepieguypizza.com.

New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around New York is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

My son wanted to try this place he heard was great on social media. Its located in China town, NYC. Small space with limted seating. We sampled a cheese slice and a pepperoni slice. The crust was crispy and light, but needed more sauce. Cheese was ok. Nothing impressive or unique that a special trip needs to be made here, but if in the atea and craving a slice, maybe try it, but so many other options are available.

The Pie Guy Pizza 83 Baxter St. New York, NY 10013 Pepperoni Slice This slice was topped with an abundant supply of pepperoni cups; there was pepperoni in every bite. It had a flop, but was still tasty. As a bonus, the wall art of celebrities being served by the mascot was nice touch. #ThePieGuy #thepieguypizza #pepperonislice #chinatownnyc #chinatownlowermanhattan

A must try pizza joint. We happened to stumble across this amazing pizza spot and the server was super friendly. The pizza was extremely fresh and flavourful. We got the Quattro, Buffalo chicken and meat lovers. All were delicious. We will be back when in town.

I came here with very high expectations after reading the reviews. Although the pizza was good, the thin crust was as I wanted, this is not the best pizza in town. The crust felt dry and I didn't really wanted to eat the edges, which I enjoy eating when the crust is crunchy. Good for quick pick up, there are a few stools around and a small stand up bar on the side. Overall this is a nice place, especially considering the price/value ratio.

Incredible NY style pizza for a great price! We came in on a snowy Saturday evening and the owners were welcoming and warm. The margherita pizza was $24 for a whole pie. The dough was chewy and had great flavor. The pizza sauce was slightly sweet and very fresh. There was plenty of mozzarella cheese and fresh basil. The pizza was piping hot and the owners put it on separate plates for our party.
